A look at one of the best years in recent California surfing history.
Focusing on 10 surfers; Andy Irons, Shea Lopez, Kasey Curtis, Shane Dorian, Mick Fanning, Taylor Knox, Nate Yeomans, Pat O'Connell, Aaron Cormican and Kelly Slater surfing the Southern California Summer/Winter sessions of 2002 and the Spring of 2003.
Epic Lower Trestles and Salt Creek are the highlights, and the video focuses primarily on Orange County, although San Diego and Santa Barbara make guest appearances, as well.
The surfers include a nice mix of traveling pros and local heroes, and the soundtrack features an eclectic mix of tunes ranging from Concrete Blonde to Jethro Tull.
